Qantas is the official airline of the British and Irish Lions tours of Australia, but with just three test level matches played over five weeks, we had to figure out a way to keep Lions fans half a world away watching the tour when there was no tour to watch.

An alternate tour that everyone could get behind - one for the athletically un-gifted - The Mane Event was conceived. Over three weeks we documented the highs and lows as four below average blokes from the UK faced off against Aussies in an increasingly unusual battle for national pride.
