If a destination looks like a glamorous movie location, it must be holiday worthy. To dramatise the cinematic/insta beauty of the Whitsundays, we crowd sourced a movie storyboard for a movie that should exist, inspired by luxurious images of the destination.

Curated by screenwriter Craig Pearce (Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge), it was an insta smash with 7,604 scenes written.






MECHANICS

» For 20 days, a daily movie storyboard image was posted and the instagram public invited to write a scene

» Craig Pearce then selected the days winning scene, which added to the continuing story

» A new image was chosen the next day based on the progressive story.
